Little Lambs Preschool

Parents are offered a selection of quality books for purchase through Scholastic Book Club each month. You can place an order by returning the order slip attached to the catalog, or visit Scholastic's website. When parens purchase books for their child at home, Little Lambs earns points toward free books for the classroom!!

Each Friday we are visited by our beloved Ms. Joni. The children enjoy watching Ms. Joni play her guitar as they participate in singing, signing, and dancing.

Chapel is provided weekly for the 3's and 4's as well as VPK, and is held located in the church sanctuary. We learn Bible stories, sing praise songs while "signing" them, and we learn to pray together. This is a special time for everyone. Chapel is led by Ms. Wanda, Mr. Zhao, Mr. Stanley, or Mr. Javier.

Dance classes are offered by Ms. Julie to children starting at 2 1/2 years old. There is a seperate monthly fee for children in dance class and is paid directly to Ms. Julie.

The dance program at Little Lambs teaches children how to dance, clap to a beat, and find rhythm. It also teaches large motor skills such as jumping, skipping, hopping, and galloping. There is a recital at the end of every year (usually in May) during which the dance students get to wear costumes and show off what they have learned. Ms. Julie has been teaching dance to young children for 5 years and is a traditionally trained dancer in jazz, tap, ballet, acrobatics, hip-hop, and lyrical. Classes begin in September of each school year. There is also a summer program that runs during June and July.

Ms. Sylvia visits each class every Monday. She reads bible stories to the students and leads them in a prayer.
