VPK is a state funded pre-k progam for children who turn 4 years-old by September 1. VPK hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:15am to 1:30pm. Parents may pay Little Lambs for additional hours if needed.
Ms. Kim - Lead VPK Teacher
Ms. Kim came to work at Little Lambs in August 2003 when her oldest child started Kindergarten, and her 2nd child was 1 1/2. She received a degree in child development from FSU in 1996. For 6 years Ms. Kim was dually employed as a lead preschool teacher/ESE instructional assistant at Open Doors Preschool, and Leon County Schools. Ms. Kim enjoys sewing, gardening, and cooking. She is blessed with a wonderful husband and 3 children. She has one child in high school, one in middle school, and one at Little Lambs.
Ms. Suzanne - Lead VPK Teacher Teacher
Suzanne began teaching at Little Lambs in 2010. After spending time as an international volunteer and a stay-at-home-mom, the family at Little Lambs was a perfect fit for Suzanne to continue working with children, and people from all over the world. She has a bachelors degree in education, and has previous experience in educational research. She loves music, dancing, painting, and spending time with great people. She is a Mom to Liam (11), and Ava (8). They are the lights of her life. Suzanne feels blessed every day to be part of the Little Lambs community. Thank you for sharing your children with me.
Ms. Nellie - VPK Assistant Teacher
Ms. Nellie was born in Turkey and is of Arminiam ancestry. She earned her BA in education from Mercy College in Michigan, and a Masters in Guidance from Eastern Michigan University. She has taught early education (in Turkey), elementary school, high school, literature, social studies and guidance. Her hobbies are learning languages, cooking, and arts and crafts.
Ms. Melinda - VPK Assistant Teacher
Melinda started working at Little Lambs in October, 2013. She worked for LCS for 10 years before joining the LLP team. She has worked with children of all ages for over 27 years. Melinda has an AS degree in Early Childhood Education, and is currently working on her BA degree. She has her CDA and Director Credential verifications. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her children, her husband, and listening to soft music. She has a passion for children and enjoys making paths easy for them to follow. Her goal is to someday own her own child development screening center
