VPK is a Federally funded pre-k progam for children who turn 4 years-old by September 1. VPK runs M-Th, 8:30am-12:30pm. Parents can pay Little Lambs for additional hours if needed.
Ms. Nellie - VPK Assistant Teacher
Ms. Nellie was born in Turkey and is of Arminiam ancestry. She earned her BA in education from Mercy College in Michigan, and a Masters in Guidance from Eastern Michigan University. She has taught early education (in Turkey), elementary school, high school, literature, social studies and guidance. Her hobbies are learning languages, cooking, and arts and crafts.
Ms. Rachael - Screening Coordinator & Substitute Teacher
Rachael has a CDA in childcare and has worked at Little Lambs Preschool since 2002. She worked in the Nursery for five years and last year was the lead teacher in a three year-old classroom. She is now our screening coordinator and substitute teacher. Rachael and her husband of 15 (short) years have two children: Megan (10) and Olivia (7). They are both Little Lambs Alumni!
Rachael was born in India, but grew up in East Africa. She traveled abroad extensively with her parents who are both retired doctors. She has two older twin sisters and a younger brother. Rachael enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, watching movies, and traveling (by road). She collects stamps, coins, and cookbooks.
